Police can advise that the section of State Highway 14, near Tangowahine, has now reopened following the serious crash earlier this morning.
Both occupants of the vehicle involved have been transported to hospital.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is now underway.
Police appreciate motorists’ cooperation and understanding this morning while our worked was carried out at the scene.
