Emergency services are responding to reports of a serious crash on Kaipara Coast Highway, Makarau.
The crash was reported to Police at around 12.25pm.
At this stage a motorcyclist is in a critical condition.
The Kaipara Coast Highway s currently closed in both directions and diversions are in place.
Motorists are advised to expect delays.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
