Emergency services are responding to a crash between a car and bus on State Highway 1 near Manakau, Horowhenua, which occurred at 11.20am.
One person from the car has been critically injured and is being transported to Wellington Hospital by helicopter.
Nobody on the bus is believed to have been injured.
