Police and emergency services are on the scene of a serious crash in Woodend, Waimakariri.
The crash, involving a truck and a car, occurred on Main North Road about 3.40pm.
One person has been seriously injured.
The road is currently blocked and diversions are in place on Par Road and Rangiora Road.
