Police investigating a fatal crash at Tirau on Friday 6 April are seeking sightings of the car before the crash.
The grey Mazda sedan crashed south of Tirau on State Highway 5 around 10:20am.
Anyone who saw the car on Friday morning in the South Waikato area, or who may have information that could assist Police, is asked to contact Taupo Police Station on (07) 378 6060.
