Police are in attendance at a serious crash northbound on the Southern Motorway, near the Panama Rd overbridge in Mt Wellington.
The crash involves a truck and a motorcycle and one person has sustained serious injuries.
Two lanes are currently blocked and the crash will cause considerable disruption for motorists who are asked to avoid the area if possible.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
