Waikato Expressway travellers at Mercer may experience delays today due to asphalt resurfacing work being done.
At the moment, the traffic is moving extremely slowly, so motorists are asked to be patient, take an alternate route or re-plan their journey.
According to the NZTA site – there will also be chipseal work on the Mercer north-bound on ramp.
Police are urging motorists to take their time and don’t follow too closely – there are extensive delays at the moment.
