Eastern Bay of Plenty Area Commander, Inspector Kevin Taylor, will be available to speak to media in relation to today’s operation at the Kawerau District Council at 2:30pm.
He will be joined by Kawerau Mayor, Malcolm Campbell, and CEO of Tuwharetoa Health Education and Social Services Trust, Chris Marjoribanks.
Media are asked to meet at the Council building on Ranfurly Ct, in Kawerau.
