Headline: Update – fatal crash Mangakino, Otorohanga

Emergency services have removed a vehicle from a stream following a fatal crash on Tahae Road, Mangakino in the Otorohanga District.
Police were called to the scene at around 4pm.
The driver – a woman – was found dead in the vehicle which was upside-down in the shallow stream
The passenger – another woman – managed to get out of the car to raise the alarm.
The Serious Crash Unit will investigate.
Family of the deceased woman have been advised.
